The Global Economy has been built on trade routes for thousands of years. For all our technological developments, that hasn’t changed. But are the historic trade patterns suitable for the 21st century and beyond?
China began a process of the development of new trade routes that are more well thought out, as opposed to haphazardly. Its New Silk Road Project is designed to connect APAC with the edge of Europe.
In the West, the Plantain Trade Route is being developed to extend those connections throughout Western Europe, Africa and the Americas.
Both projects will take years to reach culmination. But the outcome will be smoother commerce throughout the World.
